Modular Hardware

The Narhwall Platform incorporates a range of modular hardware, including wireless nodes and gateways that can support a broad range of 3rd party sensors.

These hardware modules are designed to be fully compatible with our Data Acquisition software, enabling you to quickly and easily launch IoT sensor applications with wireless data acquisition and cloud storage. To learn more about the software products, click here.

Our hardware uses FCC pre-certified chipsets in both the wireless nodes and cellular gateway, and are designed to significantly expedite the final design process for your application. Discover our hardware products

  • IoT Starter Kit: Our starter kit contains one gateway and multiple wireless nodes, along with a sample of sensors, providing the easiest starting point to develop and evaluate your application using our platform.
  • Cellular Gateway Integrator Board: The central gateway unit is designed to aggregate sensor data from multiple wireless nodes and connect to the cloud from anywhere, over cellular networks. Raspberry Pi Compute Module, Quectel mPCIe Cellular Module and mPCIe Radio Module can be plugged to this board to act as an evaluation hardware for our gateway software.
  • Wireless Node Board: The wireless node is battery operated and acts as an interface between multiple compatible sensors and the cellular gateway. This board is the base for the radio module and 2 sensor boards. This board consists of a mPCIe female connector and two Mikrobus connectors. Our mPCie radio module can be plugged to this board along with a range of Mikrobus sensors. This can be used to evaluate our node software which enables connectivity with gateway.
  • Wireless Radio Module: The wireless radio modules are designed to provide wireless low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) connectivity between the gateway and node integrator boards. The wireless module consists of mPCIe card form factor version of the Fanstel BT840XE module. This contains the Nordic nRF52840 along with an inbuilt power amplifier for range extension and provision for an external antenna. These modules are plug and play compatible with the wireless nodes and gateway. For the list of long range radio modules, contact us.
